Senior IT Project Manager (Contingent Upon Award)

The Senior IT Program Manager will lead the managing of the contractor processes that enable performance under the contract and subordinate task orders.  The PM will be the direct representative of GiggaGov and coordinate with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Government Technical Managers (GTMs). The place of performance will be in Washington D.C. with the expectation of 5 days onsite per week.

 

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the main focal point for all contractor functions that pertain to performance under the Enterprise-Wide Contract and subordinate task orders.
  • Manage the contract intended to bring IT transformation for the bureau by bringing standardization of IT governance; increasing cyber security posture; as well as modernization through business-driven IT solutions by leveraging no-code/low-code platforms, improving service management processes, and increasing data accessibility.
  • Organize and produce contract deliverable documents for review and submission.
  • Coordinate with Security to meet all contract security clearance requirements.
  • Perform contract data analytics to detect trends and collect more accurate appraisals of various issues.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with government stakeholders and all Contractor employees to analyze needs for information and analysis on an ongoing basis.
  • Work on corporate budgeting and contract reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Coordinate with HR on issues and incidents, ensuring company responsiveness to requests for leave, pay issues other HR support needs of contract personnel.
  • Improving IT service management processes and streamlining governance.
  • Supporting data accessibility and decision intelligence to drive operational impact.

Experience

  • Ten (10) years of recent, relevant experience managing IT modernization, governance, and cyber security requirements Support
  • Five (5) years of experience managing a government program with an annual budget upwards of $5 million.
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing DOD or FedCiv programs/contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating HR and/or Recruiting needs.

 

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • PMP (preferred)

ITIL v3 or v4 (preferred)
